TDK also supplies two free pieces of 4X DVD recordable media. This TDK DVD burner and the Plextor DVD burner both drives deliver solid performance. There is no difference between the drives. If you can find both of these DVD burners simply go with the cheaper drive. If they are the same price go with the TDK DVD burner---it has better documentation. Setting up the TDK Indi DVD 840 DVD burner is just like any other drive. Open the computer case, slide the drive into a free 5.25-inch bay, secure it with screws, and attach the cables.
