Plasma TVs are a good alternative flat panel too. Expore them as an option if you're looking for a larger screen.

These are our ratings on LCD TVs.

• In the 45" size (yes there is a 45" LCD) the Sharp LC-45GX6U is the only LCD TV in this size. This is the only TV in our LCD TV ratings that has a 1080p capable panel.
• In the 37" size the Sharp LC-37GD6U is king.
• In the 32" size the Sony WEGA LCD TV (KDL-32XBR950) and the Sharp LC-32GD6U rule.
• In the 26 size the Sony WEGA LCD TV (KLV-26HG2) rules, but the Sharp LC-26GD4U is a contender as is the Toshiba 26HL84 (great picture).
• The Sharp AQUOS LC-TVs are an excellent line and come in a variety of sizes: 13", 15", 20", 22", 26", 30", 32", 37" & 45".
