The EDTV and HDTV reviews of plasma TV s have never been hotter. If you
review plasma TV pricing you'll see that like DVD recorder pricing it has
dropped dramatically.
The EDTV and HDTV reviews of the following plasma TV s (in every size up to 50
") shows you who the leaders of the EDTV and the HDTV plasma pack are: We've
used the same principals in researching DVD recorders on this site (DVD recorder
review) as we do to uncover the gems of plasma TVs.
These are the general consensus of all the EDTV and HDTV reviews I've
researched on line (and plasma TVs I've seen at my local Best Buy, Circuit City,
etc.):
In the 37 inch category Panasonic has cornered the EDTV plasma TV market with an
excellent flat screen.
the Panasonic TH-37PWD7UY (6th generation consumer's version)
In the 37 inch category Panasonic's cornered the HDTV plasma TV market with an
excellent flat screen.
the Panasonic TH-37PX25U/P (7th generation)
In the EDTV 42" category - Both are EXCELLENT. The Panny has a slight edge in
picture quality while the NEC has a better method of stretching 4:3 content.
(I'd prefer the NEC).
the Panasonic TH-42PWD7UY
the NEC 42VR5.
In the HDTV 42" category
the Panasonic TH-42PHD7UY
In the HDTV 43" category
the Pioneer PDP-434CMX has cornered the market with this excellent
display.
In the EDTV 46" category
the 46" Daewoo PD46C10 (Sam's Club special) has cornered the market with
a good picture at a very good price.
In the HDTV 50" (no EDTVs in this size) -
There are four main contenders in ascending price order.
the Panasonic TH-50PHD7UY
the Pioneer Elite 1120
the NEC 50-XR4
the Fujitsu PXHA40US
EDTV and HDTV reviews like DVD recorder reviews show only the best picture
quality technology. You'll find many other brands at cheaper prices. Spend your
money wisely and pick a plasma TV from one of these EDTV and HDTV reviews. You
won't be sorry.
